Here at Wandering Desert I believe it is important to know who you are working with.  So without further ado....

My name is Kat, and I am CEO, owner, main photographer, inventory manager and shipping manager for the shop. Along with this, I am also work full time at a local hospital as an Occupational Therapist, aunt, dogma, former educator and desert dweller from Arizona. Wandering Desert Boutique has been a dream of mine since I was 18 years old, and when moving to Texas that dream became a reality with the support of my family. 

The primary goal of the boutique is to offer a variety of styles for every size woman, while keeping with bohemian inspired items. We take the colors, details, and patterns that are well known to the boho culture, but make them accessible to every woman for any walk of life - no matter if it is home life, brunch with friends, date night or even work. 

My secondary goal is to open a Brick and Mortar shop that will compliment the online shop. In the brick and mortar, I want to help kids with disabilities learn skills that are transferable and help them become employable. With my loves of fashion, occupational therapy and teaching, I feel like this is the perfect opportunity for me to give back to my local community.
